A long time car enthusiast, "NoSweat" Chet has ventured into custom car design. After working industrial construction for most of his career, which meant traveling and moving around the country too often to invest in a permanent home and shop, he has "come home" to Idaho.
With a well equipped shop just out the back door and across the yard, Chet enjoys working on his '36 Chevy Pickup "Little Red". Little Red enjoys exciting and fun-packed summers, as one of the Melba Outlaws, Silver Cup bracket racing at Firebird Raceway near Emmet, ID. Other projects include a '55 Chevy and a '51 Henry J destined to replace Little Red at Firebird.
Chet also enjoys designing. Something he's long thought about and is now doing. You can often find him scouring the countryside for old rusty pickup cabs to haul home for his newest creations, "Rat Rods". He loves taking photos of his new finds and printing several copies so he can cut and paste them into the image he holds in his mind. Then the real art begins. The latest RR project is a 1939 Chevy Panel Truck headed for a total transformation.
